Company Profile

Morley Estates is an independent agency, specialising in the Bulgarian real estate market. Founded in 2005, we have developed organically and now have offices in the UK and Bulgaria. We operate throughout the entire country with a range of properties from rural houses, through ski-chalets and city apartments and penthouses to plots of land.

Customer-Focused Strategy

Our aim is to enable our customers to benefit from their investment, and we work with them to achieve this objective.

Our approach is to build relationships, listen to requirements and to present opportunities from which customers can make a choice that is right for them. We provide the options of a comprehensive package, from viewing trips, arranging solicitors, company formations, Power of Attorney, furniture supply and project management (renovations and new developments).

Our success has been largely due to our ability to concentrate on the specific needs of our customers and provide assistance in securing an attractive investment in a market that would otherwise be difficult and potentially risky.

Company Structure and Operation

We have one office in the UK and five in Bulgaria: in Sofia (2), Bansko - the major ski resort and Sunny Beach - the major coastal resort (2). The UK office is the vital link between our (mainly UK) customers and Bulgaria. All our data is internet/server based and we use latest technologies to operate seamlessly between all the offices. The UK office also arranges and co-ordinates viewing trips with the BG offices.

Our Bulgarian offices are mainly concerned with customer viewing trips, sourcing properties and maintaining contact with developers and property owners. Most of our employed staff are Bulgarian but we also work in conjunction with other estate agents and sales representatives in Bulgaria and the UK.

We work closely with trusted Bulgarian associates who conduct most of our legal and financial work and keep pace with changing (EU) regulations.

Marcus Morley graduated from Royal Holloway and Bedford New College with a BA Hons in Management and German and worked 8 years in investment banking before changing his career and lifestyle. Marcus is the founding partner of Morley Estates and lives permanently in Bulgaria.

Suzie Morley worked in IT on Process Improvement Systems for many years and was Managing Director of her own IT Consultancy, specialising in Configuration Management. She is a senior partner of MorleyEstates and based in the UK.

Dennis Morley started his career as a Research and Development Engineer before moving into computing. Following assignments in the Middle East and Europe he became a director of an IT consultancy, working mainly with blue-chip companies in London. He is a senior partner of MorleyEstates and based in the UK.

Darina Ivanova graduated from the University of World and National Economy, Sofia with a bachelor Economics of Trade and Master Finance. She has worked in the USA, where she learnt most of her delightful English, and for the largest Bulgarian construction company.

Lubo Antonov graduated from a Russian College and went to work and study in the UK for 4 years. Since his return to Bulgaria 7 years ago, he has acquired a wealth of experience in the Real Estate business.

Mariya Toshkova graduated from the University of World and National Economy, Sofia with a master's degree in International Business Operations and English and a bachelor degree in Finances. Mariya won an award in Bulgaria as "Young Economist 2007" for her paper on European funds.

Yavor Ivanov is a student of the University of World and National Economy, Sofia. His experience in the Bulgarian real estate market and his magnetic personality belie his youthful years!
